David Weekley Thornell Floor Plan

The Thornell Floor Plan is the largest home in the first phase of homes by David Weekley in the Springs at Walnut Creek.  This 2874 sf home has five bedrooms with either three or four bathrooms.  The lower floor consists of the study, kitchen, dining room, family room, fifth bedroom and a full bathroom.  You can choose to have an open study or close it off with a wall and regular door.  The kitchen has a large island.  The cooktop can be separate from the oven or a free standing cooktop/oven combination.  There is an optional covered patio off the dining room which can be accessed through either sliding glass doors or a single regular door.  The ceiling of the family room is open to the second floor. There is an optional corner fireplace that can be added to the family room.

The spacious upper level of the Thornell Floor Plan is comprised of three full bedrooms, a retreat and the owner’s retreat.   A fourth full bathroom can be added between bedroom two and the retreat.  If you want more space you can choose to include a bonus room above the family room between bedroom two and the owner’s retreat.  A walk in shower can replace the regular shower and garden tub in the owner’s bath.

David Weekley Avonleigh Floor Plan

The Avonleigh Floor Plan has two floors with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.  It is one of the first phase homes in the Springs at Walnut Creek community by David Weekley.  The second floor is made up of three bedrooms, a retreat and two full bathrooms.

The entryway to the first floor has the option of adding a planter box.  Upon entering the front door the open study is to the left off the foyer with a powder room to the right.  The kitchen is down the hall to the left and has a large island.  You can either choose the range/cooktop combination or a  cooktop with a separate oven.  Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room with access to the backyard.  The door leading to the backyard can be sliding glass doors or a regular door with the option of a desk.  The spacious family room is open to the second level and has an optional corner fireplace.

Additional square footage can be added to the owner’s retreat by extending it off the back of the house.  The closet in the owner’s bath can be increased by foregoing the garden tub for a walk in shower.
